About this event
Our community festival is back for the second year with lots of exciting things to do for all the family.
Book art workshops for adults and children throughout the festival (£3-13).
Throughout the weekend you can explore the developing Duchy town of Nansledan following the fabulous Art Trail set in shops, businesses and other locations. Trail maps are available from Nansledan Stores and Nansledan Community Centre.
Join us on Saturday 14th at Nansledan Primary School for a side-splitting evening of all-Cornish comedy starring the Kernow King and Harriet Dyer with supporting acts, only £10.
The fun continues at the school on Sunday with a morning Craft Fair with stalls showcasing a wide range of work from the talented craftspeople and artists in the area. There will also be free talks:
Keith Sparrow: Dreams, Steam and Justice Hear about 5 people from Cornwall who changed the world in the most amazing ways
Diane Griffiths: Beyond the Prize The winner of The People’s Choice Art Award 2024 will give top tips on how to submit to art competitions, what it really means to win an award and what happens next!
In the afternoon relax to some sweet summer sounds as we Raise the Roof for Cornwall Mind with performers including Newquay male voice choir Oll an Gwella and Nansledan’s own fantastic indie folk duo Our Atlantic Roots.
And finally, have a laugh and celebrate summer at our Festival Finale Stomp (Sunday 6pm). Get dad dancing at this family-friendly Nos Lowen, a Cornish folk dancing night, with music and directions by Salt and Sky.
