A family-friendly contemporary craft and art fair that tells a story
A fresh, new contemporary craft and art fair at St Austell College on the first weekend of May half term: a family and dog-friendly festival style event involving students, musicians and some of the best makers and artists in the South West.
It’ll be a positive, relaxed weekend where people can meet and talk to makers about their stories, processes and inspirations; chill out on the sea-view lawns, have a bit of street food or a cream tea and treat themselves to something unique to treasure.
We’ll also have drop-in circus skills workshops with Vagabond Youth Circus for £3; buskers playing live music including singer songwriter Sky-Anna and folk group The Rosevilles; festival face-painting and hair-wraps; Miss Elvy’s Skool of the Wild open fire cooking: make your own pancake!
Students are taking part in an art and photography exhibition with two £50 cash prize, judged by established, artist Karen McEndoo and local professional photographer Paul Mounsey. Come and have a chilled day out, discover makers and artists and be inspired
