Truro Choral Society’s Spring concert.

Truro Choral Society’s Spring concert features one of Haydn’s greatest works – the “Missa in Augustus”, completed in 1798, subsequently became associated with Nelson’s defeat of Napoleon at the Battle of the Nile. Some two years later, Haydn performed the Mass in the presence of Nelson (and Lady Hamilton) at Eisenstadt.

Martin Palmer conducts Truro Choral Society, accompanied by Truro Symphony Orchestra, in this perennially popular choral masterpiece.
