About this event

Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage, and Booker prize winners Anne Enright and Alan Hollinghurst are part of the tempting literary line-up at this year’s Festival.

Established by Cornwall’s internationally acclaimed author Patrick Gale, this popular boutique event features author talks, concerts, workshops, a local artisan market and an ever-popular pop-up café.

The 2024 line-up includes Cornish stand-up comedian Edward Rowe and crime writer extraordinaire Abir Mukhergee alongside festival favourites Petroc Trelawney and Tiffany Murray. Evening entertainment includes a performance from LYR, the genre-splicing supergroup featuring Simon Armitage and a recording of Radio 4’s Loose Ends.
