About this event
Join us for an unforgettable evening at St Just Miners’ Chapel on 30 November, where the much-loved Cornish folk band; The Oggymen will be performing!
For over a decade, The Oggymen have championed contemporary Cornish folk music and celebrated the songs that bind us to our surroundings, to our community, and to our history. From the powerful anthems of Cornish miners to the lively songs of sailors and fishermen, you will hear classic songs reimagined and experience the humour, passion, soul, and friendship that has made The Oggymen an acclaimed part of Cornish song and music.
This promises to be a truly special evening, uniting audiences in the very essence of Cornwall’s distinctive community spirit in an iconic venue that is a unique expression of our local history and identity.
Grab your tickets and get ready to celebrate Cornish culture, honour the legacy of this very significant heritage building, and have a night to remember.
The fundraising concert is supporting our appeal to purchase and preserve St Just Wesleyan Methodist Chapel!
