About this event
Join Oliver in his studio garden, overlooking St Micheals Mount in Marazion. He’ll be exhibiting and demonstrating the various processes he uses when printmaking En Plein Air. With the help of his mobile studio, Oliver produces Land and Seascapes directly in situ. Many of his etchings and drypoints have mono-printing techniques added, so as to capture unique moment-by-moment effects right there and then, thus making each artist’s proof into a unique and affordable original fine art print. ( unframed prices start at as little as £50 )
All are welcome to book in for a session to produce their own print! Whether you are looking for a master class or first go, each session can be made suitable for individuals or groups of all ages! (+ 3years and up). Costs per person: £15 per 1/2 hr, £22.50 per 1hr, £40 per 2 hrs. In addition, materials will be charged for as they are used. Materials costs vary depending on the process and amount used, but most folk use about £4 – £8 worth for example when creating a small drypoint engraving.
Oliver will also be offering creative identity tutorials for those wanting some help to awaken more of their creative instincts. It’s advisable to book your printmaking or creative identity sessions in advance, by emailing [email protected]. If you think you might be peckish by the time you arrive, then consider booking a cream tea slot in the garden. ( Cream tea inc two scones = £4.50 per person)
