About this event
Sea Sanctuary, a Cornish mental health and wellbeing charity, is hosting an ‘open boat’ on Wednesday 20th July 2022, 2-7pm, to launch its new floating wellbeing hub, located onboard a recently renovated 180ft Dutch barge, called The ARC.
Moored beside the Sea Sanctuary offices on the tidal Penryn river, it offers a unique and serene setting to experience a wide range of activities and mental health support, including wellbeing classes, support groups, individual therapy and counselling, mental health education courses, and residential wellness retreats.
This free event is a chance for the local community to explore the space, meet the therapists, and try a free well-being taster session in yoga, art or creative writing.
No need to book, simply drop in.
Ample free parking near the venue

Details
The wellness Hub is located on a boat moored on a tidal river. Depending on the tides, the gangway may be a on varied incline, however there is handrail available either side. There are steps to access the inside areas, unfortunately due to the unique environment, we have made as many adaptations as possible.
