See The Cello pilgrimage.
Orlando is a conductor and solo cellist. Over the past 15 years he has given almost 125 recitals In beautiful churches in remote and idyllic corners of the UK, raising funds for their upkeep. He has travelled from the Roseland to Northumberland and the people of Treslothan church in the woods near Camborne look forward to welcoming an audience to listen to him play on Monday 10th July. Orlando says “The cello was my route into great music and meeting amazing musicians… music can create atmosphere, emotion, character and take you on a beautiful journey … the music I’ve composed… has been on hundreds of films, documentaries and series worldwide. I relish collaborating with theatre and film directors to make great stories come alive.”
Treslothan church will be open for refreshments from 6.00pm. Or bring a picnic to eat before the concert at 7.30pm. There will be a short interval and the concert should end around 9.15pm
