Would you like to be more confident with making art? Do you want to be able to draw accurately and to create realistic portraits? If so, this one-day workshop could be the answer.
Everyone has an inner artist, and I can teach you everything you need to know to be able to create portraits that you are proud of. In this relaxed, fun, and informative workshop you will learn many techniques that demystify painting with pastels. And you will gain a new skill for life.
Professional artist Tamsin Dearing delivers art workshops which give beginners and improvers an excellent grounding in drawing portraiture. They are an opportunity to immerse yourself in the wonderful world of art within a small and friendly group.
You will learn about pastels and papers and how to get the most from them, understand a range of shading and blending techniques, explore observation and troubleshooting, and apply everything to drawing a portrait in pastel.
Absolute beginners, those who haven’t drawn for years, and folk who want to brush up their skills are all very welcome. Come and join me in – just get in touch to book your place.
