About this event

Our Sung Eucharist marks the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, in which he is heralded as the Son of David, and his pathway into the city is strewn with palm leaves, from which we get the name Palm Sunday.

If the weather is fine, we will process from the cathedral car park into the cathedral, complete with donkey!, but what starts triumphantly turns darker; at the end of the service, the Choir sings music that looks forward to the week to come, and the congregation leaves aware that darkness is pending.
