Dogs holidaying in Cornwall will soon be treated to a glass of bubbly and a professional pamper session after returning from their walks, as Park Leisure has announced a weekend of indulgence for our furry friends.

To launch new mobile bars at its pet-friendly Pentire and Oyster Bay retreats, the holiday park operator is hosting special events on the 16th and 17th July featuring ‘pawsecco’ – a non-alcoholic herbal sparkling drink perfect for pooches after a long day exploring the Cornish countryside.

But that’s not all – while enjoying these luxurious refreshments, dogs can be treated to a complimentary treatment by a professional groomer.

Lucky pets can choose from a variety of pampering options, including nail trims and varnish, face and paw trims, baths and blow-dries, ear cleaning and fragrances. For those looking for a touch of extra glamour, there will be hair colour sprays and accessories available, such as bows and bandanas.

Owners have not been forgotten either. While their dogs take centre stage, humans can enjoy a range of drinks from the trendy new mobile bars – a vintage Citroen van (Pentire) and a retro Horse box (Oyster Bay).

They will be open from the 16th July until the 5th September and will serve a selection of cocktails, draught and bottled lagers, ales, ciders and non-alcoholic drinks.

The events are available to all holiday home owners at Pentire and Oyster Bay, and at Pentire holidaymakers can also attend.
