Do you know someone in the community that deserves recognition and celebration?

Communities, towns and countries are becoming even stronger through championing togetherness.

We are creating a platform for people in Penzance and surrounding areas to nominate someone in the community that inspires and creates positive change.

We would like to celebrate these Cornish Treasures as: The Pearls of Penzance – praising the wonderful humans that make this coastal town such a special place.

Nominations will take place in the upcoming weeks (submission deadline TBC) and a party in Penlee Park on June 5th 2022 to celebrate The Pearls of Penzance.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Community Renewal Fund in Cornwall.
