The friendliest LitFest in the West features a sparkling lineup of household names and local talent.

Dubbed ‘the friendliest LitFest in the West’, the Penzance Literary Festival attracts an exciting variety of local and national writers and performers for a celebration of words in all their forms: written, spoken and sung. Held in characterful venues throughout the town, the LitFest is is known for its friendly atmosphere, intriguing range of events and affordable ticket prices.

The lineup for 2025, to be announced in May, includes some household names plus a tempting array of local talent. Our programme of workshops offers writers at all levels of experience the chance to hone their skills under the guidance of expert tutors.
