About this event
If you are involved in rural craft or working in the landscape (or want to be!), you may have heard of and be curious to know what permaculture and regenerative agriculture are all about.
We invite you to join us on this special learning event which will help you discover how these practices can transform your current work and lifestyle, even if you’re not yet growing food or managing land and just want to know more about it.
CREST is collaborating with Rachel Phillips from the Apricot Centre to bring this Introduction to Permaculture principles to Cornwall and our Cornish hedgers, rural crafters, landowners, farmers and landscape-enthusiasts.
This 2-day introduction delves into permaculture principles and their practical applications in land-use and sustainable farming. This ‘taster’ will give you the opportunity to actively engage with the concepts, explore real-life examples, and see how regenerative techniques can be integrated into land management and food production.
The session includes:
Please note, this introductory course offers a broad overview of regenerative practices, so while it will give you a solid foundation, it doesn’t cover everything in depth. If you’re eager to dive deeper into the subject, consider enrolling in a full permaculture design course after the introduction. Many participants have found that this course, combined with further self-study and inspiration, has empowered them to launch impactful projects and business ventures in the world of sustainable agriculture.
