About this event
2019 is Brendan’s 30th year working on sea turtles around the world. In the last 5 years, one of his key areas of interest has been research on levels of marine plastic interaction of sea turtles, marine mammals and sharks.
In this fascinating talk, Brendan will guide us through some of his work and how it’s helped conserve these incredible creatures, protecting them from the dangers of marine plastics. Brendan is known as a fantastic speaker, having previously presented in the TEDx talks series so this is definitely not to be missed!
There is a suggested donation of £2 per person to the Looe Marine Conservation Group for this event to cover costs. The talk will be followed by our monthly meeting to which all are welcome.
