We are living in an extraordinarily exciting time for immersive technology. The opportunity for people and industry to embrace digital tools, engage customers differently and work on brand innovation is huge. This brand-new conference is where creativity, innovation, business, industry, and academia meet to explore the impact of Immersive technology on every aspect of our lives.

What can you expect?

A programme of masterclasses and panels from across the UK providing insight into what’s next for innovation. We’ll explore what to expect from the metaverse and how key sectors like retail, healthcare, wellbeing, education, gaming and creative can utilise the trend. If you want to understand these new trends and start thinking about how they might impact on both your life and your business then book your ticket.

Day one:

We’ll introduce the metaverse, the business opportunity and the new ways of thinking. Especially how this could effect hospitality, retail, training and education. You’ll hear key notes from Tom Ffiske as he introduces the concept, Tracey Swales will discuss what this means for the art world as well as a panel discussion on big data, crypto and NFTs and Tracy Cosgrove will showcase how immersive tech can improve training in the hospitality sector.

We’ll also officially launch the Far Southwest Cluster. And round the day off with drinks, music and networking.

Day two:

The final day will discuss what the metaverse means for future skills and talent. Looking into health, ethics and wellbeing as well as the creative industries. Speakers and panel members include Professor in Computer Games Tanya Krzywinska, Creative Kernow’s Fiona Wotton and entrepreneur Mike Morris among others.

Over the two days there will be an opportunity to visit our immersive business demonstration space to experience the technology first-hand. Including virtual reality (VR), mixed and augmented reality (AR) headsets, and interactive demos of various immersive tools and technologies.

Event Details: The ticket fee includes entrance to the two-day conference and an evening event on the Thursday.
