A warm welcome to Polteggan House where I’m delighted to be exhibiting with Hilary Jean Gibson. The studio, house and garden will be open.

This year, my friend, artist and colleague Hilary Jean Gibson and I have teamed up at Polteggan House. The Studio, house and garden will be open to visitors, to see paintings, drawings and prints. There will be oil paintings, pen and ink drawings and numerous sketchbooks and prints, exploring the elusive space between figuration and abstraction. We both paint and draw en Plein Air, and have worked together at several locations, these works will be on show.

Visitors can experiment with oil bars, pastels and other materials, and can make a monoprint card to take away. Polteggan House is very near the renowned Trengwainton National Trust Gardens.

Take A30 past Penzance to Mount Misery roundabout. Follow sign to St Just on the A3071. After 1 mile, turn right at Tremethick Cross, signposted Trengwainton Gardens. Polteggan House is about 1/2 mile on the right.
