Winter Pottery Wheel-Throwing Experience

Want to come for a spin on the potter’s wheel? We cater for all ages and skill levels, having taught from 3 to 90 year-olds Whether you are excited for your first go on an electric potter’s wheel or looking for a refresh of your old skills, sessions are tailored to suit your needs. There are two potter’s wheels and everyone has guided throwing time throughout their relaxed and friendly introduction to wheel-throwing.

You can choose between 1 or 2 hours on the wheels, and the time and cost can be split between your group. This session is solely for your group, so no awkward introductions to others or waiting for your instructor to get to you. Your creations are yours to keep or you can choose your favourites to be fired and glazed at an extra cost per pot, please see our website for more details. We have car parking and bus and main line train links very close.

Great for a group of friends or family as a winter activity. Our studio is cosy and warm in Hayle Foundry and has parking and good public transport links.
