Free documentary film about finding hope in a violent world. Of interest to local community workers.

In collaboration with Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change, we are delighted to announce the highly regarded “Power to Change” documentary film (first shown in Truro last year) will be shown in St Austell and Redruth.

Here are the details:

St. Austell:
Tuesday 16th May at 7pm for 7:30pm at 7-9 High Cross Street, St Austell, PL25 4AB

Redruth:
Monday 22 May at 7pm for 7:30pm, at The Elms, 61 Green Lane, Redruth TR15 1LS.

Bookings: email your name/s and number of seats required, to [email protected]. Seating is limited at both venues.

Whilst the screening is free, there will be an opportunity to make a donation to cover costs.

The Film

In a time where youth violence is on the rise across the country, and with the poverty gap ever increasing, Power to Change is a unique film that tells the stories of five people growing up against a brutal backdrop of gangs, drugs and knife crime. They discover a simple solution that turns their lives around. Sometimes all it takes is one person, one act, one choice, to change the trajectory of a lifetime.
