About this event

A fun family-friendly event with key messages

Join us for a day full of fun activities, displays, demonstrations and information about plastic pollution, recycling, wildlife impact, and lots more. Local experts will be there including Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Cornish Plastic Pollution Coalition, Cornwall Seal Gp & Research Trust, British Divers Marine Life Rescue Team, Pendeen School, Clean Cornwall, BIFFA, and Cornwall Council, and Plastic Free St Just.

See displays of beachcombed Lego from the 1997 container spill, & artworks made from marine plastics. Watch how marine medics rescue entangled seal pups from around our coast, and learn what you can recycle and what you can’t!

All you ever need to know about plastics, how they affect the planet & our daily lives – plus advice on how to reduce their use.
