Penzance Literary Festival presents Kate Forsyth

Voted one of Australia’s Favourite Novelists, Kate Forsyth is an award-winning author, essayist, poet and performance storyteller. Alongside her historical novels, which are spellbinding retellings of myths and legend, she co-wrote with Kim Wilkins The Silver Well, a critically acclaimed collection of interlinked stories centred around the ancient holy well under the Giant of Cerne Abbas in Dorset.

Join the Queen of Fairy Tales for an hour of dark enchantment as she shares forgotten tales of peril and wonder from long ago and far away. Discover the ancient history and hidden meaning of some of the world’s most beloved stories and fascinating ways to spin old tales into new forms.
