Quiet Gathering – Pinetum Gardens

Join our quiet community for a walk at Pinetum.

Welcome to June’s quiet gathering! If you haven’t been to a quiet gathering before, then you are more than welcome to join us. This a chance for quieter people to meet like-minded individuals in a safe and supportive environment. There is no judgement here and we have all experienced feelings of social anxiety, so know you are not alone! You are always welcome to stay with us for as little and as long as you like to.

To start off in the summer sun, we will be having a relaxed walk around the beautiful Pinetum Gardens near St Austell, you are welcome to join us for as long or as little as you like, but we will be meeting at about 10 am to enter so that we can all go in together.

Pinetum Gardens is 32 acres of beautiful wilderness, from large ponds to a Japanese garden; a perfectly quiet place to escape (especially after the busy G7 summit the week before!) There are areas for reflections and a chance to connect with nature amongst us like-minded quiets! You can find out more about Pinetum gardens here: pinetumgardens.com

We probably won’t be walking the whole gardens (as 32 acres is quite large!) and will aim to stay on even footpaths to make it as accessible as possible. You are welcome to bring something to eat and drink along the way. We are also happy to stop for breaks whenever is needed too! There is also a café at the beginning/end should you wish to purchase something delicious!
The entrance fee has been discounted for us at £12.00 a person, – if you might not be able to cover this please message us! If possible please let us know as soon as possible if you are coming (just so we can let the owners know how many of us there will be beforehand!).
