About this event
I work intuitively and internally from an emotion that resonates within. Painting for me is a deeply personal visual language, the work I produce has grown primarily from an internal enquiry responding to the ideas of intimacy, memories, dreams, fantasy and the imagination.
I aim to find the balance between what is physical and non-physical, human and spiritual figures. I paint in layers building up, rubbing off and sanding down. to find the harmony between fine detail and negative space. My work is predominantly figurative and revolves around the subjects of femininity, relationships and the purity and power of the feminine.
