Do you have a young girl in your life who loves to imagine soaring amongst the stars as an astronaut, or piloting through the clouds? What about flying drones or designing her own rocket? Make those dreams take flight with TECgirls on June 22nd at Reach for the Sky, an out-of-this-world aviation festival!
Held in a real life aircraft hangar at Europe’s biggest helicopter base, RNAS Culdrose, Reach for the Sky is a chance for girls to explore and discover all the wonders within aviation and aerospace. Children can get creative at practical workshops, be mesmerised by live science shows, explore over 20 stands all brimming with curiosity, and see real life jets and helicopters up close!
But that’s not all, for girls can be inspired towards their future career with real pilots, engineers, and other professionals working in space and aviation throughout the festival. With talks throughout the day, girls will have a chance to hear amazing tales of adventure and innovation, and kick-start their own journey into these exciting sectors. At this festival, the sky is not the limit—it’s just the beginning.

Note: This festival is aimed at girls 7-14 to tackle the gender gap in the aerospace and aviation industry. However, we welcome children of all ages to this event and never turn anyone away based on age or gender.
