About this event
An exhibition of surprises!
Revealed in JANET LYNCH’s storage-studio – a wealth of figurative paintings reflecting the human condition, now displayed in the two large rooms of Yew Tree Gallery. Expressive of emotion, of myth and legend – all are engaging and full of lively colour.
On show with these are sumptuous ceramics by the esteemed lustreware potter SUTTON TAYLOR ~ tall, stately bottle forms and bowls glowing with rich colour and precious metals.
Always a delight to see on the table are NIGEL LAMBERT’s slipware domestic pots with their painterly brushwork decoration.
New jewellery by GUY ROYLE, clay sculptures by REECE INGRAM and colourful silk marl scarves by ALISON DUPERNEX accompany the main exhibits.
Outside in the sculpture gardens are new slate tables by HELEN NOCK, inlaid with mosaics of glass and ceramic.
