Gweek Players autumn play (15–19 November), Ring Round the Moon by Jean Anouilh, translated by Christopher Fry, is a whimsical comedy of love and matchmaking featuring a cast of crazy characters, identical twin brothers and 1950s Dior glamour. It is a joyous celebration of passion, jealousy and romance.
In one magical night the characters discover themselves and resolve their problems. A ball, including some truly terrible tango dancing, ends in a glorious finale.
Venue: Gweek Village Hall. Evening performances start at 7.30 and the Saturday matinee at 2.30. There will be a licensed bar and desserts in the interval. Tea and coffee will also be available. Tickets (£12) from gweekplayers.co.uk or CRBO 01726 63513
