A comedy, Ring Round the Moon is a whimsical jaunt of love and matchmaking. Set the glamorous Dior world of 1951 during a Society Ball, the poor but lovely dancer Isabelle (and her melodramatic mother) have arrived at the invitation of Hugo, a charming scoundrel, in order to destroy his identical twin brother Frederic’s romance with dangerous Diana.
Lady India is the mistress of Diana’s father, Messerchmann, but carrying on a secret romance with his secretary, Patrice. Madame Desmortes, the Ball’s hostess, has just about had it with everyone’s secrets. A joyful and sublime portrayal of a Cinderella finding her true love.
Wild Food Kitchen will be serving a selection of hot meals on Thursday 9 July ONLY (vegetarian and vegan options available) from 1 hour before the performance start time. This will be “popup food van” style and does not need to be pre-booked.
