Live Music by the Sea

Indie, rock singer-songwriter Robi Mitch’s dreamy yet groovy sound is inspired by 70’s psychedelia, 90’s mixtapes and his experiences as a session musician in Taiwan.

Robi released his debut EP ‘Our Year’ in January 2020 as a limited edition vinyl (“Amazing” – BBC Introducing), followed by full length ‘Future Perfect’ on cassette (“Diverse, blissfully warm and utterly infectious” – Small Music Scene).

Tracks from Future Perfect were championed by Nice Guys Records and featured in Spotify ‘Fresh Finds’, introducing Robi to a fresh audience.

In the summer of 2021 Robi and his band released a concert film, Live from Easter Palace, in association with Fruit Machine. They played their first gigs since the Covid-19 pandemic, taking the laid-back, lo-fi indie pop of Robi’s records into cosmic new dimensions.

In 2021 Robi moved from his hometown of Bristol to Cornwall and is now based in Falmouth. His Dreamer/Loser Ep was released on Colorama Records in July 2022 (“Wind-chimes psychedelia and avant-pop” – American Pancake) with an expanded palette of sounds which retains the breezy charm that marked Robi’s earlier work.
