About this event

Discover curious creatures found on the Cornish coast with the Rock Pool Project.

Dive into an exciting marine discovery experience with The Rock Pool Project at National Maritime Museum Cornwall, during May half term.

Get up close with coastal creatures in the mobile rock pool, get creative in a family Make & Take sessions and join in with a Museum trail.

The Rock Pool Project’s team of marine experts will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions about the rock pool discoveries and will share insights about our local Cornish marine wildlife.

Accessibility

Details

There are five levels in the Museum, all of which are accessible by lift or ramp. Accessible toilets are located on the first and second floors and there are larger facilities available if required. An ADi Room Mate is installed in the accessible toilet near to the Waterside Cafe – ADi is an audio device for blind and visually impaired visitors. Baby changing facilities are found in the accessible toilets on the first and second floors. The nearest public car park is 100 metres away, across a level, but cobbled surface.
