About this event
Performing their unique blend of indie, pop, electronica and punk, St Cleer-based Ides of Sedition hope to fill the church again, following the success of Rock the Bells 1 in February. They will be performing a range of punk classics, some new material and some pop-based numbers.
Vocalist and keyboard player Caralinda Booth said:
“We really enjoyed organising (along with our wonderful friends in St Cleer) and performing Rock The Bells 1 and were so pleased that the church was full, and with the enthusiastic response of the audience. They really were dancing in the aisles. Many local people who came along in February asked us to do it again so we jumped at the chance of another performance – this time to raise money for church funds.”
Line-up for the band will be Chris Bashford on lead vocals and guitar, Caralinda Booth (Shakespears Sister, Thompson Twins) on keyboards and vocals, Jonny Lunn (from Calstock) on drums and Jeff Piccinini on bass.
Chris and Jeff worked together in the punk band Chelsea formed back in 1976. Chris was also part of other bands, including The Boyz and Sham69.
