Come and join us once a month where IntoBodmin will be hosting a series of fun, Free Photography workshops. Each course will run for 3 sessions over 3 months, always on a Sunday. This block runs February, March and April (dates and details below).
The first course is Camera Basics- so total beginners welcome!! We will run you through how to take the best photographs on your camera phone, covering aperture, shutter speed, ISO and useful apps. We will also be making pin-hole cameras. No prior experience is needed, all abilities are welcome.
This will also include an exclusive visit to the George Ellis Archive at Kresen Kernow. He was a prominent photographer from Bodmin who extensively photographed people and places around Bodmin and Cornwall from 1939-1982.- ( a free minibus will be provided for participants)
The day includes refreshments and a chance to meet new people in a friendly and welcoming environment.
The dates for this block are:
25th February- Introduction to George Ellis and photography, Pinhole camera making, and photography apps.
18th March- Basic photography – Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO, and go for a walk taking photos with our new skills.
20th April- Visit Kresen Kernow – behind-the-scenes 2-hour trip around George Ellis archive and see how digitising and archiving is done, as well as learning about the history of photography.
By Signing up for this session, you are booking a place in all three of the above sessions.
