About this event
Part of the ‘Inspired Starting Points for Your Novel’ series
Venue: Morrab Library
Sara Bodinar’s credentials as a screenwriter, playwright, script doctor and editor involved with 30+ films, three documentaries, seven TV shows, 18 theatre plays and umpteen books speak for themselves. Sara explores how stage and screen techniques (precise dialogue, visual thinking, dramatic structure and disciplined scene construction) can sharpen and energise fiction. Through discussion and fun creative exercises, you’ll examine how writers trained in performance make scenes that carry tension, reveal character through action and keep narrative momentum alive. Suitable for all levels of writing experience
Concessions strictly for: under-18s, full-time students, those in receipt of working-age benefits or Pension Credit
