About this event

Don Taylor will demonstrate his skills in working with serpentine.

Don will talk about the techniques, the history of this uniquely Cornish craft and answer your questions.

You also have the opportunity to make a pendant (cost £10, all materials supplied) if you would like a souvenir.

This is a FREE drop-in session, so come to the museum anytime between 2pm and 4pm

Part of Helston Makes It!, our week-long annual celebration of makers and craft. This year, the festival celebrates the trades and crafts on display in our Meat Market, such as glove making, serpentine turning and woodwork.
