About this event

Learn to use your overlocker.

This workshop focuses on building the techniques and finishes which can be achieved with your overlocker and its specialist feet. This is a great next step for those who’ve mastered the threading, tensions and differential feed.

What you will learn:
Creating edge finishes- rolled, lettuce hem
Flatlock seams or hems
Gather
Feeding through trims and elastics
Making samples

What you will need to bring:
Your overlocker with attachments and manual (NB. Please let me know the make and model so I can have a manual to hand in case it’s needed because all machines are different and require different set ups/attachments for these techniques)
A sewing kit – thread scissors, pins, tape measure etc
Pencil, pens ruler

What we supply:
Samples, trims, elastics
Instructions

Level: Beginner
Duration: 3 – 4 hours
