About this event
Taking a interest in extreme weather which has become a real passion. There is nowhere to run and hide down here so you just need to embrace the elements. My work focuses on the untamed seas of west Cornwall and the large open spaces of Goonhilly Downs. I work from my studio based in Mawgan, working in oils and on large canvases to grasp the intensity and ethereal beauty of the rugged Cornish coastline.
When arriving at Jewell Arts you will be warmly welcomed by Simon and Rebecca Jewell. We have 3 large rooms Including Simon’s studio which are filled with original paintings, photography, prints and cards by Simon and Rebecca and beautiful Serpentine, driftwood sculptures and jewellery by Don Taylor. There is sure to be something for every taste and budget. Parking is available onsite for level access throughout.
So come and relax in the garden with a cup of tea and a slice of cake where we will more than happy to talk to you about our artistic processes.
