About this event
Join Simon Nicholls – multi-award-winning BBC comedy producer – as he celebrates the funny side of nature. Simon co-created and produces Radio 4’s natural history comedy, Nature Table, hosted by Sue Perkins. There’ll be discussions about comedy’s relationship with the natural world alongside readings from the show’s spin-off book, A Housefly Buzzes in the Key of F, which is filled with amazing hilarious animal and plant facts. There’ll also be entertaining anecdotes plundered from Simon’s 20-year comedy-producing career, working with some of the biggest names in comedy, including, most recently, Ed Rowe (Kernow King) and Dawn French.
