About this event
Join us along the clifftops at The Sea Forts, Maker Heights, near Rame Head, Torpoint, for a joyous summer sing up.
This late afternoon and sun downer showcase will feature the best of Cornwall’s live singing groups, folk musicians and more. The hill tops, that over look the sea, will be resounding with the dulcet tones of local shantymen and shout group The Derryairs, The Rodeohead Country Chorale from Lostwithiel, St Austell’s Keayside Chorus and the fabulous Men Are Singing, led by Seamus Carey (Sorry I think I am a Nationalist) from Falmouth.
In true sing-along style, there will be lots of opportunities for audiences young and old to join in with our house band and featured choirs for a great big Cornish sing along.
The best of local grab and go food and drink will be available from the Guard House Cafe, Big Pan Parties. And local brewery, Castle Ale, will be serving up a superb collection of locally brewed craft ales and beers.
Bring your best singing voice, best friends and family. Don’t forget blankets and chairs so you can settle in for a memorable sun set session of singing as the sun goes down over the sea at Rame Head.
