About this event
Come and join the St Mary’s Singers in a celebration of the late renaissance composer, William Byrd, who died 400 years ago. The choir will feature works by Byrd including ‘Sing joyfully’, ‘Ne Irascaris’, ‘Civitas Sancti’ and ‘Miserere Mei’. Also featured will be works by Tallis, Morley, Gibbons and Dowland – all composers who inspired or were inspired by Byrd.
This beautiful evening of music and celebration will be held in the sublime surroundings of Truro cathedral on the 24th of June.
