About this event
Join us for the Septembers Quiet gathering where will be spending some blue mind time by the sea and having a little look at what Cornish Coastal Critters we can find!
Key Information:
When: 19 Sept 2021 @ 10:30am
Where: Out the front of Gyllygnvase Beach (On the path near the cafe) – Gyllyngvase Beach – Google Maps – Look for Ellie (Girl with brown curly hair!)
What we’re doing: Rockpooling and a beverage!
What to bring/wear: If you have a bucket it can be worth bringing it along too so you can have a closer look at what is found! Suitable clothing and footwear – Rocks can be slippy, so you may end up getting a little wet – if you have grippy walking boots or Wellies this can be a good plan!
Suncream or raincoat! Depending on the day!
Drink/Snacks in case you get peckish!
Cost: Parking is 1 hour – £1.40 2. 1 to 2 hours – £2.70 3. 2 to 3 hours – £4.00 – The car park is opposite the cafe. (Free street parking nearby too!) Money for hot/cold drink if you would like one (£3ish)
Contact: Message Ellie Smart on here or via email: [email protected]
Ellie will be there to help guide us with the little critters that are around and will also have some books for you to look through.
We will spend about 1-hour rock pooling and can head to Gylly Beach Cafe to get a warm drink after if anyone feels like it.
You are more than welcome to bring family and friends along to have a look too!
