Family craft workshop for 5yrs plus

As part of Animate Helston come and make some fun sock puppets. Make and design your own characters and creatures and then use our mini-puppet theatre to create a mini live show or try using an animation app to make a mini-film. Then take your puppet home to carry on creating. All materials supplied.

For families with children aged 5 years plus. Please note this activity is not suitable for under 5 years as we will be sewing using needles and thread and using small items such as buttons.

We will be running two sessions: 10.30am – 12 noon and 1 – 2.30pm. Places are free but limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Animate Helston is a partnership project between the Museum of Cornish Life and Mor Media and is funded thanks to Arts Council England.

Details

Workshops are being held in the Guildhall next to the Museum of Cornish Life. There are a couple of steps into the Guildhall. A ramp is available if needed. You must let us know in advance if you need the ramp to be in place.
