* Wild Paths and Star Dust *
-Creative Workshops at the Sacred Sites of Penwith
From May until September, from Beltane to the September Full Moon, I am offering a range of creative, outdoor workshops, at some of the ancient Celtic sites of Penwith.
This series of workshops are aimed at soaking up the energy and peace of these very magical, special places and by taking your creative inner child on an afternoon playing in the wild.
No previous knowledge or skill required except a thirst to experiment and to connect with your intuition.
Midsummer Solstice
During the lightest part of the year, with the longest day and shortest night, the magic of the land was thought to be particularly strong, blessing nature everywhere with light and warmth.
The stone circle of Boscawen-un is thought to have served as sacred gathering place for the surrounding tribal villages of the Celts, with its poignant leaning stone in the centre and its anchor quartz cube.
As we bath in nature’s abundance at this Midsummer time, we will play with clay to form our very own amulets charged with this potent energy to aid, ground and support us when worn.
We will also experiment with intuitive painting techniques inspired by the beauty of this special landmark.
TIME: Saturday 2-5pm
TO BRING: Your favourite paints, pads and brushes as well as something to sit on.
ABILITY: To reach Boscawen-un Stone circle we will take a level track for a 15min walk.
