About this event
Local concert raising money for the “Friends of Consols Pond” which aims to keep a century old tradition alive of sailing boats there on Good Friday. The concert will feature The Cornish Lark- Nicole Tesseyman and her Little Larks, Global Jamming and other local talent. It will be a magical, joyful afternoon in aid of a good cause.
Included are St Ives Songs by the late John Barber, father of Irene Tanner who will be performing. Well loved local talent performing their original music will be Gavin Nicol, Katrina Geraghty and Vaughan Bennett.
A new song “Consols Pond“ written by Nicole Tesseyman will be sang by all including her “Little Larks” children who sang it in their annual Christmas show.
The performers all share a deep love of their hometown where they were born and bred and love singing together. They will be encouraging audience participation on the chorus of the well known local classics.
This is going to be a show not only to support a local tradition but a moment where old meets new in a shared love of St Ives.
