About this event
Travelling troubadour Sorrel Nation brings a soulful mix of folk-rock to country and engages audiences with emotive lyrics, 70s inspired style and a voice full of soul that can truly open the heart.
2024 saw multiple new releases from Sorrel and two successful UK wide tours, including her first ever solo tour in April and first full band tour in October to accompany the release of ‘Lost En Route’. 2025 proved to be no different as Sorrel embarked on three tours and exciting festival appearances to promote her debut album and its release on vinyl in March 2025, followed by a live EP ‘Live and Acoustic’ recorded whilst Sorrel travelled up to Scotland earlier in the year.
And yes…Sorrel Nation is her real name.
“You have a signature voice, when I hear you sing I will know it is Sorrel Nation” (Richard Elkington, Owner The Drawingroom Chesham)
“Sorrel’s voice is off the scale stunning” (Gill Tee, Co-founder Black Deer Festival)

Our Atlantic Roots
Newquay-based indie-folk duo ‘Our Atlantic Roots’ have a dedicated and growing fan base around the world, with features on some of the biggest indie-folk channels and playlists. The American-British duo have had airplay on BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing and they have shared the stage at festivals with the likes of Passenger, Tom Odell and Ward Thomas. Their songwriting is honest, poetic and reflective and has been praised by industry professionals; from Nashville-based hit songwriter Mark Cawley, to local folk legend, Geoff Lakeman.
Originating in North Carolina, the duo creatively blend roots music with cinematic instrumentation, leaning into more traditional sounds for some releases and merging genres such as indie-pop or Americana for others. They have drawn sonic inspiration from bands such as The Paper Kites, The Oh Hellos and Hollow Coves.
