Creatively Supporting Emotional Health & Wellbeing

SFY provides support, through weekly guided activity in Art, Music & Movement, for anyone from the age of 16yrs, who may be feeling emotionally/mentally vulnerable. Our weekly workshops run every Wednesday, just drop in at 10:30 for a morning session or 13:30 for an afternoon session. Workshops are led by professional tutors and all materials are provided, no experience required. We ask for a donation of £3 for a 2 hour workshop. The project ‘Postcards from the Edge’ is a community project aimed at celebrating the creative work of SFY participants, alongside others in the community, to help raise awareness of Mental Health. The project will run during National Mental Health Awareness Week (18 May – 22 May). Pop in to us on a Wednesday or see our website for more details. All works submitted will be celebrated in a public exhibition running during the Penzance Art Festival 6 June – 21 June 2020.
