intoBodmin welcomes SproutSpoken over from Newquay to host a pop-up open mic, giving the people of Bodmin a chance to do share their words in a safe, fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Having started in 2017 in a little shop down a forgotten lane, SproutSpoken began to give a platform for local people to share their words with the world. Since then, a community – some ‘up front’ on the stage and others in the audience – have met regularly to celebrate creativity, connection, stories, poetry, the power of words and the joy of ‘having a go’!

Some previous SproutSpoken attendees had never shared their poem before and it was the beginning of a journey of confidence and fun!
