About this event

Come along and find out more about St Anthony Head; the place, the people, wildlife and history.

Hidden under tons of earth for decades, the battery at St Anthony Head was pretty forgotten. Now it is opened up again you can come and find out about the history of the place, going back through different threats of invasion up to when it was finally decommissioned.

Tours at 11am and 1.30pm (£5 suggested donation on the day for tours would be welcome).

Suitable for people of all ages.

Tour dates to book in 2024 (two tours each day from 11:00 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 15:00): • Sunday 4 August

Details

Level access in car park area. Limited accessible paths too, suitable for smaller wheelchairs and pushchairs, but may not work for Trampers etc due to turn around space. Accessible toilet available.
