About this event

A free family community event

The event will run from 9 am till 3 pm in Unit K (opposite Halifax Bank), White River Place, St Austell. There will be: Local arts and craft stalls, Cornish Heritage stalls, a raffle, guess the name of the teddy and refreshments available to purchase. Raffle tickets £1 a strip.

In the Market House, Market Hill, St Austell there will be children’s card making, flag making, Cornish language taster sessions, photo displays from St Austell Old Cornwall Society and other Old Cornwall Societies.

From 1.30 pm the event moves outside into South Square, White River Place where we will set off to parade around St Austell Town led by our St Piran who will be followed by a band of troubadours. There will be short speeches on our return to Aylmer Square. One of our invited guests will be St Austell Mayor Tim Styles.

We hope one and all will join us and please bring your Cornish Flags.
