About this event
Join us for this year’s Easter Festival – the 52nd!
So what’s special about this festival? Well – uniquely – all the performers at the festival come together, unpaid, to make music for the love of it. That leads to the creation of some exquisite moments of musical magic. There is a tangible passion for music-making and communication that inspires all participants – players, singers and audience.
This year, we again have a very exciting programme of events featuring great repertoire and outstanding soloists, leaders and conductors of international renown. Concert repertoire ranges from brilliant baroque to monumental symphonic works, alongside intimate song and treasured instrumental chamber music.
Dvořák‘s Stabat Mater, JS Bach’s Easter Oratorio and Shostakovich’s Symphony No 9 all feature – plus many, many more wonderful pieces, both well known and beloved and some less familiar jewels destined to delight!
Alongside the concert series, an Art Exhibition features the work of David Sharp and Jem Southam entitled “Larks, Mallards…” Do please come along to the private viewing on Friday 11 April in St Endellion Hall 18:00 to 20:00
The St Endellion Easter Festival takes place in the collegiate Church of St Endellion. Do please join us. Details and tickets can be found here:
