Our traditional country fair is getting really close now. Full details are on our Facebook page and website.
Why not arrive early for a Bacon sandwich breakfast, have delicious Fair trade coffee and Cake mid morning and enjoy lunch with hot drinks, soft drinks, a pint of Real ale from St Austell Brewery or Pimms or maybe a glass of Prosecco.
Most of our food is locally produced including pasties , Roddas clotted cream, Cornish ice cream and all cakes are home cooked by folks of the Parish. We have a new sandwich and wrap menu made to order on the day including vegetarian and vegan options and a children’s meal deal.
Arena events include; Flying Birds of Prey, Gun Dogs, Bugle Silver Band, Working Sheepdogs, Heavy Horses, Vintage vehicle parade if we have time and of course the legendary Tug of War.
Elsewhere in the show you’ll find; The Fun Dog Show and Horticultural Marquee and competition. Entry forms for both are available on Facebook and our pages on the St Ewe Parish website. Traders selling quality local goods and crafts. Steak of the Art Chef demos, woodturning, archery and Cat’s Eye Morris Dancers . There is a Marquee with activities throughout the day including Mr. Punch. We have vintage tractors and vehicles to admire and rare breed fowl to learn about. Gorran gig club will have their marvelous craft on display and a challenge for you. We’ve got live music in the hall and main marquee to keep you entertained. Fancy other challenges? We have a number of exciting traditional games (is bra pong traditional) can you hit a coconut or beat Danny our Champion Goalie or have a go on Rowland’s traditional fairground rides.
We’ve got some really great raffle prizes so don’t forget to buy your tickets when you arrive or from our team of ‘rafflers’.
Remember the two reasons we run the show- a great, good value day out for locals and visitors and to give all proceeds to local good causes and charities.

Details
This is a ruarl show taking place on grass fields as well as hardstanding. Parking is on adjoining fields so sensible footwear is advised. There is limited parking for Blue Badge holders at the village hall.
