About this event
Spring in St Ives is truly magical. Clear blue skies, crisp sea air, and expansive skies. As the clocks spring forward and we leap into a new season it’s perfect time to embrace the elements and meet up with friends with a fun, free event for everyone – St Ives Kite Fest 2025 is back, ready to lift your spirits and your kites!
Flight Day will take place on Saturday 29th March, from 1pm to 3pm on St Ives Island. Everyone is welcome, wrap up, bring a kite or simply watch the sky fill with colour and movement.
If you would like to build and decorate your own kite, join us at one of our Kite Making workshops at St Ives Library:
· Adult Workshops (Ages 16+): Thursday 20th March, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm BYO drinks and snacks – (limited spaces – booking recommended) The Cornerstone Library & VIC
· Family Kite Making Workshops: Saturday 22nd March (limited spaces – booking recommended) The Cornerstone Library & VIC
· Flight Day: Saturday 29th March, 1 pm to 3 pm The Island – all welcome
